And it goes on and on. Weeds weeds and more weeds, and now tens of thousands of Brittlebush sprouts from the millions of seeds that get dropped year round. What a mess and what a soon to be fire hazard as these things go dormant and drop all the flowers and dry up into an ugly gray half dead POS desert weed!!!!

I have aquired a city map showing who will still be in the flood plain AFTER the improvements are done. Sadly, I will still be in it, as will lots of my neighbors, but on the good side, 85 people won’t need to have flood insurance anymore.

Click the link below to see the map. If you are inside the boundry line, in the shaded area, you will still be required to carry flood insurance IF you are still paying a mortgage. Probably a very good idea even if your house is paid off. You never know what might happen around here!
